The magnetic card is set into the special slot and the hatch opens half way. A vocal message will guide you through the following operations. Open the hatch, place the magazines or paper or cardboard on the plate of the scales ― make certain that the paper is not oily or very dirty and that there is no plastic film. Such parts must be removed before placing the paper on the plate of the scales or such ruined parts can be placed in the unsorted wastes hopper.
After this operation has been completed without any undesirable materials, close the hatch. After a 5-second delay, the machine will issue the receipt with the weight of the material and the bonus accrued.
The plate of the scales turns over and starts up the grinder that reduces the material to dimensions of 40 x L. The material falls into a hopper that opens when the set weight for the work cycle has been reached (from 10 kg, depending on the zones).
When the weight has been reached, the minced material enters a tank and a disintegration process is simultaneously started up with the addition of 85% water.
Once this process has been performed, after 25 minutes the material is transferred to the next tank and additional water is added to reach a density of 5% for complete floating. At this point, ink and other impurities are removed, a process which takes at least 8 minutes.
When this procedure is completed, the next wash phase is performed with the addition of more water, thus reaching a density of 2-3% dry material (dry paper and cardboard). Then the paste is poured into storage for the next phase.
When the tank is full and the cellulose that has settled to the bottom has reached a height of approximately 1.2 meters, the excess water on the surface is sucked up and the cellulose is ready for compacting into cylinders.
