The hopper is used by inserting the magnetic card into the correct slot, enter the pin code and the type of hopper to be opened. This will open the hatch half way and a vocal message will tell you to open the hatch, set the material inside the hopper and then close the hatch; the machine will run the suitability test and, if passed, will issue a receipt indicating the weight of the material delivered and the bonus accrued, to be credited to the person’s account. The same is repeated for the other hoppers.

The user has thus completed the process and holds 4 receipts that he should keep to check the weight of the material delivered and the value at the time the taxes and rates are to be paid.
