In the section dedicated to the collection of paper and cardboard, the user will feed the material in through a hatch that automatically opens with a personal magnetic card and pin code. After being weighed, the material is dumped into a grinder that reduces it to sufficiently homogeneous dimensions.
In the subsequent phase, the material is first dumped into a pulper where it is worked for 25 minutes at a density of 15-20%, thus producing a paste that is as uniform as possible and, at the same time, eliminating some contaminants, particularly ink, sand and any steel present.
When new paper and cardboard arrives, the material in the first pulper drops into the second pulper to be finely worked and brought to a density of 5-6%. It then drops to the third pulper to complete the pulping operation and bring the density to 0.6%.
From the last of the three pulpers, after having removed the excess water above the level of the cellulose that has deposited as a result of the system fungicide effect, the paste is set in a special container where most of the ink is removed. When the container is full, it is picked up and taken to a paper-mill or to storage for further drying.
